Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 55.1-706.1 as follows:

§ 55.1-706.1. Required disclosures; maximum lot coverage.

An owner of a single-family detached residential property shall disclose in writing to any prospective purchaser or lessee of the property the existing lot coverage and the maximum lot coverage for the property as permitted by zoning ordinance in the locality in which the property is located.
