20105087DBe it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 22.1-208.02 as follows:
§ 22.1-208.02. Public elementary schools; instruction; success sequence.
A. As used in this section, "success sequence" means the sequential act of graduating from high school, securing full-time employment, and marrying before having children and the impact that has on poverty in the United States.
B. Each public elementary school principal shall ensure that instruction on the importance of the success sequence is provided at least annually to each student at the grade level that the principal deems appropriate. Such instruction may be incorporated into existing curricula and may be delivered in collaboration with any other entity or individual.
