SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Uniform Statewide Building Code; applicability to farm buildings and structures. Provides that the current exemption for farm buildings and structures from the Uniform Statewide Building Code does not apply if a building or a portion of a building is operated as a licensed winery or farm winery or brewery under the provisions of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Act (§ 4.1-100 et seq.). The bill has a two-year delayed effective date to allow existing structures to come into compliance with the Uniform Statewide Building Code.
