SUMMARY AS PASSED SENATE:
Temporary removable windshield placards. Allows licensed physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, podiatrists, or chiropractors to certify 15 days in advance of a medical procedure that an applicant will have a temporary disability that limits or impairs his ability to walk. DMV will mail the temporary placard to the applicant.
SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Temporary removable windshield placards. Allows licensed physicians to issue temporary removable windshield parking placards to patients with a temporary disability that limits or impairs their ability to walk. Current law allows only the Department of Motor Vehicles to issue removable windshield parking placards.
