10104547DBe it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. That the Department of Transportation shall forthwith reconsider its Secondary Street Acceptance Requirements that became effective on July 1, 2009, with specific focus on the connectivity index, external connections, pedestrian accommodations, the point in time which an individual street can be accepted into the secondary system, and the means by which an exception can be granted. Such reconsideration shall also focus on the unique challenges in rural applications, and street design requirements. The regulation shall become effective no later than July 1, 2013.
