SUMMARY AS PASSED: (all summaries)
Septic systems; nitrogen-reducing technology. Clarifies that the Department of Conservation and Recreation may award grants from the Water Quality Improvement Fund for the replacement or modification of residential onsite sewage systems to include nitrogen removal capabilities. The Board of Health may also set nitrogen-reducing performance requirements for alternative onsite sewage systems that protect public health and ground and surface water quality.
