SUMMARY AS PASSED SENATE:
Highways; littering unsightly matter. Provides that when a person is convicted of illegally dumping or disposing of garbage or refuse on public property or on private property without the permission on the owner the court shall impose a fine of not less than $500 and order a mandatory 10 hours of community service.
SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Highways; littering unsightly matter. Provides that when matter illegally dumped or disposed of was ejected from a motor vehicle or transported to the disposal site in a motor vehicle, the court, in addition to the criminal penalty provided, may suspend the defendant's license to operate a motor vehicle for a period not to exceed 30 days.
