SUMMARY AS PASSED: (all summaries)
Elections; absentee voting process; first responders. Provides that law-enforcement officers, firefighters, and other first responders are entitled to vote absentee and requires prompt service on absentee ballot applications backed up by jurisdiction in the circuit courts to order compliance with the statutory requirements. This bill is identical to HB 1877.
