SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Uniform Statewide Building Code; authority of local building officials; penalty.  Provides that in addition to the penalties provided for in § 54.1-111, the local governing body of a county, city, or town may, by ordinance, authorize its building official to issue a summons for unlicensed activity by any person required to be licensed by the Board for Contractors.
