SB 94 Polling places; voting equipment must remain in plain view of officers of election.

SUMMARY AS PASSED SENATE:

Voting equipment at the polling place. Provides that voting and counting equipment, including inoperative equipment, must remain in plain view of the officers of election and in the polling place during the election and through the determination of the vote after the polls close. The bill provides for use of easily portable electronic voting devices for curbside voting under certain conditions. This bill is identical to HB 986 and incorporates SB 142.

SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Voting equipment at the polling place. Provides that voting and counting equipment, including inoperative equipment, must remain in plain view of the officers of election and in the polling place during the election and through the determination of the vote after the polls close. This bill is identical to SB 142 and HB 986.
