SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Division of Engineering and Buildings; utility metering of state-owned buildings. Provides that effective July 1, 2005, all state-owned buildings and facilities shall be separately metered for electricity and gas. The Division of Engineering and Buildings shall monitor the amount of electricity and gas used in state-owned buildings and facilities to ensure that such buildings and facilities are maintained and operated in the most energy efficient manner. The Division may implement such energy conservation measures as it deems necessary.
