SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE:
Information technology and telecommunications procurement; Virginia Information Technologies Agency (VITA). Adds the requirement that VITA conduct procurements in accordance with the regulations inplementing the electronic and information technology accessibility standards of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended (29 U.S.C. 794d), in addition to other requirements. Such procurements may not exceed the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 regulations.
SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Information technology and telecommunications procurement; Virginia Information Technologies Agency (VITA). Requires VITA to conduct procurements in accordance with the electronic and information technology accessibility standards of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended (29 U.S.C. 794d), in addition to other requirements.
