SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Chesapeake Bay Local Assistance Department. Authorizes the Chesapeake Bay Local Assistance Department to administer the Virginia Coastal Resources Management Program. The purpose of the program is to coordinate efforts by state agencies and Tidewater localities to develop and implement coastal policies. The Department is also empowered to administer the program's annual grant award received from the National Oceanic an Atmospheric Administration.
