SUMMARY AS ENACTED WITH GOVERNOR'S RECOMMENDATION:
Determining speed of vehicle with various devices; certificate as to accuracy of device. Provides that in any court in which any question arises about the calibration or accuracy of any laser vehicle speed determination device, a certificate showing the calibration or accuracy of any method employed in calibrating or testing any laser is admissible as evidence. Currently, there is no specific provision for allowing laser calibrations into evidence. This bill incorporates HB 2298.
