SUMMARY AS PASSED: (all summaries)
Council on Human Resources. Merges the Personnel Advisory Board, the State Health Benefits Advisory Council, the Virginia Equal Employment Opportunity Council and consolidates their functions in the Virginia Council on Human Resources. The Council shall consist of a total of 17 members of which 15 are voting and two are non-voting members. Eight members are appointed by the Governor, subject to confirmation by the General Assembly, four are appointed by the Speaker of the House, and three are appointed by the Senate Committee on Privleges and Elections. The Director of the Department of Human Resource Management and the Director of the Department of Employment Dispute Resolution serve permanently as ex officio members without voting privileges.
