SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE: (all summaries)
Special license plates; supporters of greenways and blueways. Authorizes the issuance of "revenue sharing" license plates to supporters of greenways and blueways. For each set of plates issued (after the first 1,000 sets) $15 will go to the Department of Conservation and Recreation to acquire, construct, operate, and maintain greenways and similar pedestrian recreation and hiking trails throughout the Commonwealth. The bill also establishes the Department of Conservation and Recreation Greenways Fund comprised of the money generated from the sales of the special license plate.
