Introduced by: Emily Couric | all patrons ... notes | add to my profiles
SUMMARY AS PASSED: (all summaries)
Fire Prevention Code; enforcement by locality. Allows localities to enforce only those provisions of the State Fire Prevention Code regarding open burning, fire lanes, fireworks, and hazardous materials. Existing law provides that a locality may elect to enforce the provisions of the Fire Prevention Code; however, if a locality chooses to do so, it must enforce the provisions of the Fire Prevention Code in their entirety.
