SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Joint Commission on Behavioral Health Care. Establishes the Joint Commission on Behavioral Health Care to study, report and make recommendations for continuous improvement in all areas of publicly funded behavioral health care policy, management, financing, service delivery, regulation and evaluation. The Joint Commission is a recommendation of the Joint Subcommittee Studying the Future Delivery of Publicly Funded Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Substance Abuse Services (HJR 225--1998). The Commission will sunset on July 1, 2005.
