SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Health; pilot indigent pharmacy program. Requesting the Technical Advisory Panel of the Virginia Indigent Health Care Trust Fund and the Department of Medical Assistance Services, in cooperation with the Virginia Department of Health, to develop a pilot indigent pharmacy program as a means of improving access to prescription medications for the indigent and uninsured. This is a recommendation of the Joint Commission on Health Care.
