SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Certificate of public need; definition of medical care facility. Exempts specialized centers or clinics or that portion of a physician's office developed for the provision of outpatient or ambulatory surgery from the definition of medical care facility, eliminating the requirement for a certificate of public need for projects involving such facilities.
