SUMMARY:
Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation; asbestos and lead contractors and workers. Provides an exception to the regulations of the Board for voluntary inspections of schools. Inspectors will not be required to test in accordance with the federal Housing and Urban Development guidelines--as required by the Board's regulations--when conducting voluntary inspections of schools. The inspectors conducting such testing pursuant to an agreement with a local school board or private school officials will not be in violation of the law or regulations.
