Introduced by: Jean W. Cunningham | all patrons ... notes | add to my profiles
SUMMARY:
Transfer of local health services from operation under contract by the state to operation by certain cities; exemptions to licensure requirements of restaurants. Authorizes Richmond, described by population, to be the sole operator of its local health services without any reduction in state aid; currently Arlington and Fairfax Counties operate their health services in this manner. Also, the bill provides that certain restaurant licensure requirements shall not apply to community centers when holding occasional dinners or bazaars with food prepared at the community center or in the homes of members.
