Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. That the Department of Human Resource Management shall update the policy related to the alternative application process for the employment of persons with a disability implemented pursuant to Chapter 218 of the Acts of Assembly of 2021, Special Session I, to (i) require all state agencies to post all available positions on the Alternative Hiring Process webpage of the online Recruitment Management System for the Commonwealth and (ii) allow individuals currently employed with the Commonwealth of Virginia an equal opportunity to apply for and obtain a Certification of Disability.
