Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no tax shall be imposed or collected on the sale of gasoline or diesel fuel pursuant to Chapter 22 (§ 58.1-2200 et seq.) of Title 58.1 of the Code of Virginia or Chapter 22.1 (§ 58.1-2291 et seq.) of Title 58.1 of the Code of Virginia on and after the effective date of this act.

2. That an emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.

3. That the provisions of this act shall expire on July 1, 2023.
