SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Law-enforcement officers; minimum qualifications. Changes the minimum qualifications for law-enforcement officers to provide that all such officers who enter upon the duties of such office shall not have been convicted of or pled guilty or no contest to any misdemeanor involving moral turpitude, including petit larceny, within the last three years. Current law prohibits such convictions at all for such officers who enter upon the duties of such office.
