SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Car tax credit for tolls paid. Provides that localities may allow taxpayers a credit against the amount of tangible personal property tax paid on privately owned or leased motor vehicles. The credit shall equal the amount of tolls paid by a taxpayer for traveling on highways in the Commonwealth in the period for which the tax was imposed. The credit shall be nonrefundable and cannot be carried over beyond the period in which the tax was imposed.
