SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE:
Nondisclosure or confidentiality agreement; sexual assault; condition of employment. Prohibits an employer from requiring an employee or a prospective employee to execute or renew any provision in a nondisclosure or confidentiality agreement that has the purpose or effect of concealing the details relating to a claim of sexual assault as a condition of employment.
SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Arbitration agreements; unconscionable and unenforceable provisions; sexual harassment and sexual assault. Provides that any provision of an arbitration agreement that has the purpose or effect of concealing the details regarding a claim of sexual harassment or sexual assault is unconscionable and unenforceable, unless such provision is proposed by the victim of such sexual harassment or sexual assault.
