Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, the Pocahontas Building is designated as the temporary General Assembly Building and as such a part of the Capitol Square complex during the reconstruction of the General Assembly Building and until such time as the building is reoccupied and ready to resume business as determined by the Director of the Department of General Services in consultation with the Clerk of the Senate and the Clerk of House of Delegates.

2. That an emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
