Denouncing the intimidation of the Commonwealth's residents, affirming the commitment to diversity, and safeguarding the civil rights and dignity of all Virginians. Denounces the intimidation of Virginia's residents, affirms the state's commitment to diversity, and safeguards the civil rights and dignity of all Virginians. The resolution instructs the Clerk of the House of Delegates to transmit copies of the resolution to the Secretary of Education, the Superintendent of Public Instruction, and the Executive Director of the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia, requesting that they further disseminate copies of this resolution to their respective constituents so that they may be apprised of the sense of the Virginia House of Delegates in this matter.
