SUMMARY AS PASSED: (all summaries)
Sex Offender and Crimes Against Minors Registry Act; penalty. Adds to the offenses for which registration is required on the Sex Offender and Crimes Against Minors Registry the crimes of (i) procuring a person for prostitution and receiving money from the earnings of a person engaged in prostitution if the crime involves a minor and (ii) aggravated malicious wounding if the perpetrator of the crime was an adult and the victim was under the age of 13. The bill also provides that only persons who committed such crimes on or after July 1, 2016, are required to register. This bill incorporates HB 604 and HB 672.
