SUMMARY AS PASSED SENATE: (all summaries)

Virginia Public Procurement Act; requirements for Requests for Proposal. Requires that Requests for Proposal (RFP) include the specifics of any numerical scoring system to be used and indicate the weight that will be given to individual components of a proposal. The bill provides that if a numerical system is used, the point values assigned to each of the evaluation criteria must be included in the RFP or posted at the location designated for public posting of procurement notices prior to the due date and time for receiving proposals.
