SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE: (all summaries)
Action for personal injury or wrongful death; appointment of administrator. Provides that when a fiduciary qualifies for the sole purpose of prosecuting or defending a personal injury or wrongful death action, the court in which the fiduciary qualifies or the commissioner of accounts for such court may exempt the fiduciary from filing further accounts where the fiduciary is not administering any funds and has no power of sale over any real estate the decedent owned. The bill also provides that when an administrator is appointed solely to prosecute or defend a personal injury or wrongful death action, the administrator is qualified to prosecute both types of actions.
