SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Punitive or exemplary damages. Provides consistency by changing references to "exemplary damages" or "punitive or exemplary damages" to "punitive damages." The terms "exemplary" and "punitive" are interchangeable. The bill also makes technical corrections and is a recommendation of the Code Commission.
