SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Visiting wildlife traps. Requires the Board of Game and Inland Fisheries to adopt regulations allowing trappers to use remote trap-checking technology to check traps under specified conditions. Current law requires trappers to visit their traps either daily or, in the case of body-gripping traps that are completely submerged, once every 72 hours and remove all animals that have been caught in the traps.
