SUMMARY AS PASSED: (all summaries)

Public-Private Transportation Act of 1995; utility crossings. Requires a locality or political subdivision whose facilities are to be crossed or affected by a project under the Public-Private Transportation Act of 1995 to cooperate fully with other entities in planning and arranging the manner of the crossing or relocation of the facilities. If the locality or political subdivision and the private entity are not able to agree upon a plan for the crossing or relocation, the private entity is authorized to request the Commonwealth Transportation Board to resolve the matter. The measure also requires requests for approval of a transportation facility to include a list of the locality's or political subdivision's facilities that will be crossed by the transportation facility and a statement of plans to accommodate the crossings.
