SUMMARY AS PASSED: (all summaries)
Impersonating a law-enforcement officer. Adds federal law-enforcement officers and any local, city, county, and state law-enforcement officers to the list of law-enforcement officers for which it is a Class 1 misdemeanor to falsely assume or exercise the functions, powers, duties, and privileges incident to the office of sheriff, police officer, marshal, or peace officer, or to falsely assume or pretend to be any such officer. This bill is identical to HB 1358.
