SUMMARY AS PASSED SENATE: (all summaries)
Jail processing fee. Allows a locality to divide the fees collected post-conviction proportionately between a police department and the sheriff's department if costs are incurred by a police department for booking or fingerprinting services. Currently, the fee may go only to sheriff's offices and regional jails. This bill is identical to HB 2284.
