SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE: (all summaries)
Annual report by Commonwealth Transportation Commissioner on certain accomplishments, actions, and initiatives of the Virginia Department of Transportation. Requires that the Commonwealth Transportation Commissioner annually report in writing to the General Assembly, no later than November 30 of each year, on all actions and initiatives of the Virginia Department of Transportation in the preceding fiscal year that involved outsourcing, privatization, and downsizing. The Commissioner is further required to provide, in writing to the General Assembly, detailed and specific plans for outsourcing, privatization, and downsizing in the current fiscal year, including, but not limited to, appropriate asset management and intelligent transportation system functions and services.
