SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Authority to lease or convey airspace. Provides that the Commissioner of Highways has the authority to select any competitive procurement process for leases and conveyances of airspace and that he may reject any bid he believes is not in the best interest of the Commonwealth. Current law requires public advertisement for bids and requires the Commissioner to accept the highest bid from a responsible bidder.
