SUMMARY AS PASSED SENATE: (all summaries)

Hunting of coyotes; county or city ordinances. Adds the hunting of coyotes with a rifle of a caliber larger than .22 rimfire to the list of firearm-hunting topics about which a county or city is authorized to adopt ordinances. Current law allows the governing body of a county or city to adopt ordinances prohibiting hunting with certain types of shotguns, permitting groundhog hunting under certain conditions, permitting hunting with muzzleloaders, and specifying permissible ammunition types. The bill contains technical amendments.
