SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Natural gas companies; right to enter upon property. Conditions a natural gas utility's exercise of its authority to enter upon the property of a landowner without his permission upon the adoption by the local governing body of the city or county in which the property is located expressing support for the gas line or works. The governing body may only adopt such a resolution if it finds that locating the line or works within the locality is consistent with its comprehensive plan and that there exists a demonstrated public need for the line or works.
