SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Income tax; deduction for certain volunteer services. Allows a deduction of $1,500 when determining Virginia taxable income for professional services provided by mental health professionals and educators who volunteer with inmate programs in the Departments of Corrections, Correctional Education or Social Services, for taxable years beginning on or after January 1, 2012.
