SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Constitutional amendment (first resolution); exemption from local real property taxation. Amends the Constitution to provide that the General Assembly may by general law authorize the governing body of any county, city, town, or regional government to provide a partial exemption from local real property taxation for real estate located in designated conservation, redevelopment or rehabilitation districts upon which there has been new construction.
