1999 SESSION
HJ 693 Memorializing Congress; dye in kerosene.
Introduced by: John H. Tate, Jr. | all patrons ... notes | add to my profiles
SUMMARY AS PASSED: (all summaries)
Dye in kerosene. Memorializes Congress to change federal regulations so that diesel fuel and kerosene used for nontaxable purposes are not dyed the same color to distinguish them when they are used for taxable purposes. This would enable customers to distinguish kerosene from diesel, particularly those who use the former for home heating (nonfuel taxable) purposes.
