SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Tobacco farming. Requests the Governor, Attorney General and Department of Agriculture and Consumer Affairs to develop a plan to protect Virginia tobacco growers. The plan is to include recommendations for use of Virginia’s share of the tobacco industry’s payments under the recent national agreement between states and the tobacco industry for the protection of tobacco farmers.
