Youth gangs. Requests the Department of Criminal Justice Services to conduct a survey on the prevalence of youth gang activity across the Commonwealth. Since the statewide survey on the prevalence of youth gang in 1996, there has not been an assessment of youth gangs activity in Virginia and up-to-date information on the youth gang presence across the Commonwealth is warranted.
