SUMMARY AS PASSED:
Physical therapy. Requests the Board of Health Professions, with the cooperation of the Department of Health Professions and other state agencies as may be appropriate, to study the merit of establishing an independent board of physical therapy for the purpose of regulating physical therapists and physical therapist assistants. During the course of the study, the Board is requested to confer with members of the Physical Therapy Advisory Board and the Virginia Physical Therapy Association.
