Exercise of eminent domain by public utilities. Establishes a joint subcommittee to examine the current means and adequacy of compensation to Virginia citizens whose properties are taken pursuant to the exercise of eminent domain. While addressing this issue broadly, the study is essentially focused on properties taken by electric utilities for transmission line corridors.
