SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE: (all summaries)
Magistrates; residence. Removes the current statutory requirement that a magistrate be a resident of the judicial district for which he is appointed and the exceptions from this requirement created for Arlington, Fairfax, Prince William, Alexandria, and Norfolk.
This bill is recommended by the Committee on District Courts.
