SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE:
Motorcycles. Provides that the Commonwealth Transportation Board, the Commonwealth Transportation Commissioner, and the Virginia Department of Transportation shall not restrict access of motorcycles to transportation facilities.
SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Tolls for motorcycles. Prohibits charging motorcycles higher tolls if they have sidecars or are towing trailers or both. This would apply equally to facilities using individual toll-takers, mechanical toll-collection machines, or automatic vehicle identification systems, but would not apply to facilities whose bond indentures provide otherwise.
